About the Authors

The Buddha in Your Mirror is the result of the collected knowledge and wisdom of three Buddhist practitioners with nearly 100 years of combined experience.
  • Greg Martin is a professor in the Soka Gakkai International-USA Study Department and is the organization's vice president of publications. He has published many articles on Nichiren Buddhism and has been practicing Nichiren Buddhism for more than 30 years. He lives in Santa Monica, California, with his wife Momoyo.

  • Woody Hochswender is a former reporter for The New York Times and an editor at Esquire and Harper's Bazaar. He has been practicing Nichiren Buddhism for more than 25 years and hopes to bring the notion of the practice of Buddhism to as many people as possible. He divides his time living in New York City and Sharon, Connecticut, where he lives with his wife Cynthia.

  • Ted Morino is editor-in-chief of the World Tribune, SGI-USA's organ newspaper and Living Buddhism, SGI-USA's study journal. He is also the former head of the Study Department of the SGI-USA. He has been practicing Buddhism for more than 35 years. Born in Kyoto, Japan, Morino now lives in Tustin Ranch, California, with his wife, Cindy.
